On 27th Feb at 21.00 we will be doing a major upgrade of play cricket servers. The system will be unstable and potentially unavailable until 18.00 on the 28th February. This is to ensure increased capacity for the 2019 season. We appreciate your understanding as we continue to invest in the service.

BGL Cricket Week at Burghley Park 2019

One of the highlights of the Burghley Park Cricket Club season is BGL Cricket Week, which is always held in the first full week in July. In 2019 cricket week commences on Monday 1st July and continues until Friday 5th July with continued support from headline sponsor BGL Group. Entry is free for all! The week consists of all day games on each day of the week starting at 10am (11am on Friday against the MCC) and from 6pm every evening, the ever popular six-a-side competition takes place. This year Buckles Solicitors LLP will once again be sponsoring a champagne moment each evening, as well as the trophy for player of the sixes. Alongside the cricket, the Konnexx bar will be hosting a real ale festival in the Cabeluk marquee - with over 70 different real ales available at the new larger bar during the week. 2019 will continue to see our affiliation with Adnams Stamford too, so it is worth visiting the Park during the week in order to sample the delights of some wonderful food and drink on offer, from near and far, while at the same time watching some exhilarating six hitting during the ‘sixes’ games.
